Aileen Cha

Aileen is a junior majoring in Human Biology and minoring in Health Care Studies and Sports Media Industries at the University of Southern California. After graduating from USC, Nicole plans on taking at least one gap year to try out many things and gain new skills before heading into the intense 4 years of medical school. During the gap year, she would like to either pursue a PDD program or spend the year volunteering and gaining clinical hours while traveling.

Aileen has been a part of USC AMWA since Fall 2022. She joined because she wanted to be a part of a community centered around empowering women in medicine. She also wanted to meet new people who share the same goals as her.

Outside of USC AMWA, Aileen performs clinical research at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and also works as an Emergency Room scribe. For hobbies, Aileen enjoys hiking, playing and watching sports, and playing music.

For incoming members, Aileen advises you to not be afraid or nervous to be the one to start a conversation! “Everyone in USC AMWA is always open to making new friends!”

This year, as one of the Pre-Health and Education Liaisons, Aileen is excited for a great year of growth and learning in AMWA. She can’t wait to form new and fun memories!
