Hi! I'm Nicole Chakbazof, a third-year Lifespan Health major and Dance minor, currently serving as AMWA’s Pre-Health/Education Liaison after previously working as Social Media Coordinator. I’m a pre-Physician Assistant student with a passion for primary care, and I joined AMWA to be part of an uplifting community of women in medicine who inspire and support one another. My favorite part of AMWA is connecting with driven, compassionate members who share the same vision for improving healthcare. Outside of AMWA, I volunteer in the Neuro ICU at Keck Hospital of USC and in the Emergency Department at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, and I work as a dance teacher, sharing my love of teaching kids. In the future, I hope to work as a Physician Assistant, building lasting patient relationships. My advice for new members: put yourself out there, say yes to opportunities, and don’t be shy about meeting new people because you might just find mentors, friends, and experiences that shape your journey!
