Role: President
Why I joined/why I like AMWA: AMWA was one of the first organizations that I joined at USC. I wanted to be a part of an organization that supported other women in or interested in the medical and health care fields and loved the community of like-minded and intelligent women. From the community, I was able to learn a lot from a variety of perspectives of different women, and I hope to continue to gain more knowledge and guidance from them.
Future Plans:
After graduation, I'll be finishing up my Progressive Master's in Public Health with USC and hopefully getting interviews for medical school!
Outside of AMWA: I'm a Brigade Coordinator of USC’s Global Medical Brigades and the Secretary of the USC Shinkendo club. I'm also a current research volunteer at USC and a COPE Health Scholar. My hobbies include singing, reading, and perfume collecting (feel free to ask me about them!).
For incoming members: I'd advise that you definitely reach out to the members of the E-Board as well as the other members of the club. USC AMWA is very welcoming and we would love to hear from you and talk with you! We also have a lot of opportunities for networking and volunteering, as well as resources for your premedical journey (like MCAT resources!)
